A morning routine, however simple, gives you something to move through before the day becomes formless. A few predictable weekly touchstones — a walk, a call with a friend, a regular meal — create the kind of rhythm that helps the nervous system settle.

Small and consistent tends to work better than elaborate and occasional. The goal isn't a perfect summer schedule. It's just enough structure that you don't feel like you're free-falling.
